Hotel Restaurante La Peseta is centrally located beside San Bartolomé Church in Astorga, on the Santiago Pilgrimage Route.
“The hotel looked like it had undergone renovation -- sleek and modern inside even though it was in an historic area. Don't expect big fluffy white towels, but a spotless room you will have. They also have a clothes rack and clothes pins outside the window, so if you are walking the Camino, you have a place to dry your clothes. As it turned out for me, the towel warmer in the bathroom and dried my clothes perfectly despite the rain outside. I would definitely stay here again.”
