“This was a mix of a business trip and a much needed rest for my husband and I. We have been there before and always feel it to be a comfortable, home from home, with friendly staff, good facilities and a lovely room. The slight dip in WiFi was almost certainly caused by the fact that Storm Calum was raging. On our third day, the storm passed and the internet was back to normal. This is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED pub/hotel, with excellent food available all day. If you want bright lights, Cemmaes is not for you, but those wanting a quiet few days or somewhere close to Snowdonia and the coast, plus other places of interest to visit/walk, this is a great venue for a quiet, cosy pub-with-better-than-pub facilities after a bust day out, this is the place to be.”
