“.Great location central to coastal & mountain scenery & activities. Pretty riverside location. We were welcomed by the resident chickens and bantam rooster and saw several pheasants near the river the next morning. The proprietor was welcoming and entertaining and gave directions to dinner alternatives at the local pubs. The breakfast buffet was excellent with numerous choices including homemade jams.”

“Fabulous property in a stunning location - beautiful old farmhouse with an abundance of features such as oak beams, slate flagstones, beautiful timber floors. The owners were lovely and very welcoming (and came to find us when we got lost in the dark trying to find the place!). We only stayed for a single night stopover, but it would have been a great spot to stay for several days, we certainly would have enjoyed trying out the hot tub if we hadn't arrived so late! We did enjoy the wood burner range in the kitchen, made for a cosy evening meal. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again, thank you for a lovely night.”
