“Simon and his wife were absolutely wonderful, I wasn't well when I arrived and they took great care of me and really went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The house itself is beautiful and the grounds amazing. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. My room was en-suite, it was warm and clean, the bed was comfortable. I had a good nights sleep and was fully recovered by the following morning.”

“I stayed here for 6 nights, with my daughter and 2 other family members. It was perfect for the 4 of us. Any issues, the owner was quick to respond and offer assistance. We loved having a kitchen to be able to cook breakfast every morning. A small grocery store is just across the street, which made the location perfect. It's just a very short walk into the centre of town, where you will find many cafes and shops.The flat has a washer, and several clothes racks for drying clothes are provided. The view from the kitchen window is amazing! I'm so glad we chose to stay here during our first visit to Hawick, from Canada. We will definitely be back!”

Plus only 15 min walk to Hawick town- and close drive to major supermarkets etc. Our host, Alan was extremely considerate having supplied store goodies including enough fresh supplies for full English breakfast. The block was very quiet and whilst young residents behind appeared to be tinkering with cars and playing music in early evening they were soon quiet. Views over river and old mills and hills in distance were added bonus. Apartment was well furnished, exc tv with Netflix, coffee machine, plenty of hot water for showers. Everything was spotless.
