“We were struck by the location, near the tip of Skye above Portree, across the road from the coast and 6 mi from the famed Old Man of Storr mountain hike where we could look down on our place from the green plateau at the top. For many reasons, we were grateful for the wonderfully spacious and colorfully decorated two bedroom/bath apt, with separate laundry room, large dining table and seating area where you can look at the sea and the sunset through the house on either side. The well-equipped kitchen, and great showers and beds were a gift after long days of hiking. We enjoyed being surrounded with good books, and guidebooks, very nice decorations and the first catch-up on BBC for a week. We could not have designed a better location and experience. The pictures tell all but the magical surroundings and drive.”

Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Rooms were beautifully furnished with picture windows in the living spaces and views to die for. Loads of space! Information provides by Donna was clear and helpful and when we needed to contact her, she and Norman were very responsive. The location was amazing and our main entertainment was watching the play of light and shade over Trotternish Ridge as rain clouds and shafts of sunlight battled it out - simply stunning.”
