“The location was perfect for us. Not in the middle of all the action but close enough to get there soon. The bus stop was around the corner and the bus arrived frequently to drive you everywhere on the island. The pool was amazing!!! The owners of this resort so pleasant, relaxed and accommodating. Akrotiri is much quieter than the main towns of Fira & Oia (these are stunning to visit but way too overcrowded these days). Akrotiri has a lively centre with lots of nice tavernas & cafes & shops but you're not battling crazy traffic & you can walk along the streets without fighting through packed crowds of people. The hotel itself sits high on the clifftop so has 360 views. Our family room was large, bright & comfortable. The pool area is very nice - Kids enjoyed the heated pool. Breakfast each morning was very nice with pastries & yoghurt. The owners are very helpful, they arranged our hire car in advance & we were able to get tickets for a volcano boat trip from them too.”

The view from the swimming pool is exceptional and awe-inspiring. It was a delight to lounge around the pool in the sun before heading out for the day. We would return in a heartbeat! “The owner was extremely helpful, he sat down and told us everything to do on the island and how to get around. He also kindly upgraded us to the little house at the top of the hill, which was very lovely to stay in! It was very convienently located: the bus stops right beside the hotel, the red beach was a short walk away, the ancient Akrotiri was right next door. Beach chairs and umbrellas provided on the beach. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Amazing for watching stars at night as its outside the main town. Definitely the right choice for travellers wanting to relax and avoid all of the commotion of other areas on the island!”

It is about a 20 minute walk to the Red Beach. You can hire a little ATV or motorbike through Adamastos which I would recommend. It's about a 15 minute ride on one of those to Fira. The bus stop is right outside too. I will be back - loved it here!”

I myself never write a review yet always read them, I found this hotel was 10/10 and would highly advise those looking to go book it you won't be disappointed. A car or quad is needed to see the island and adds to the fun only 15 mins to Fira town it's not isolated but not much with in walking distance, this I did not see as a problem personally.”

“Everything!!! Martha and her husband are amazing people that made us feel part of the family. The location is amazing with beautiful views and on a very quiet place where you can easily sleep all morning. You can also book excursions or tours on site without leaving the accommodation or even rent a scooter or a car!!
