“This hotel is a little gem and truly worthy of its rating. I stayed here for 4 days to acclimatise before a trek and again after. It really felt like home from home. The hotel and rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. There is an extensive library of books you can read in one of the seating areas. Or,sit on the terrace or in the garden and enjoy the magnificent views of the mountains. The restaurant serves great vegetarian food. But what really makes this hotel amazing is its staff and its owner, Mr Gurnam Singh. Mr Singh, himself, takes time to talk and get to know each of his guests. He is a man of integrity, his kindness and his peaceful manner radiates throughout his hotel and in turn through his staff. The staff are wonderful, they make you feel welcome and comfortable. Constantly making sure you are drinking enough fluids at such altitude, that your room is warm and bringing hot water bottles in the evening. The list goes on....nothing is too much trouble for them. I left Gomang Boutique Hotel feeling calm and relaxed. It is a special place I would definitely return to.”

“Hotel Lingzi is a lovely little haven in the relatively busy centre of Leh. Its location is right in the midst of it all which makes exploring the town and local sights, nipping out for meals, arranging tours and shopping very easy and fast. And popping back for an afternoon nap is a simple pleasure! Leh is an incredible place to visit but it is not without its challenges. Altitude sickness is the first thing that hits you. The owner's husband is a doctor and i really felt safe knowing there was help at hand and an oxygen machine if i needed it. The whole of Leh seems to run off one internet service, and if its down, which it was when i was there, any outside contact with the world becomes VERY difficult. (I tell you this so you can get everything in order before you go). I needed to change my flight along with sorting out some other complications and everyone at Hotel Lingzi bent over backwards to help me, way beyond the call of duty. I will be forever grateful for their help at this time. I had a room with a lovely view of the mountains . It was spacious, warm and cozy. There is a terrace at the top of the hotel too which has spectacular views all around. Thank you to all at Hotel Lingzi.”

“I stayed at Yarab Tso Ladakh last April with my husband and it was overall a delightful stay. The hotel arranged our airport transfer and helped us with tips to get a proper acclimatization. The owner Stanzin take a really good caring of his guests and even got our RAP on a last minute request. Hotel staff was nice and attentive. Rooms are nice and clean. Hotel is close to the airport .Stanzin even took us to the hospital after both of us got mountain sickness and arrange all our requirement including meals at hospital. The hotel can arrange trips to Nubra, Pangong and other local sites which really convenient for the travelers. It was nice to have the company of Mr Urgain who help Stanzin to run the hotel. He was really friendly and helpful, and assisted us to get oxygen cylinders from local chemist shop. Highly recommend the hotel to fellow travelers.”

“Nice family run hotel with a very homely and welcoming feeling. Rubina and her parents including the rest of the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and very approachable. “the owners son Sonnam junior , runs the place and he is always at hand for (good honest and reliable) information. He is a very nice guy as is his father Sonam senior who is a font of information for climbers as he was part of the successful Indian team to conquer Everest back in the 60's when it really was something. only the 4th team to do it. The Dali Lama was visiting during my stay and Without asking Sonam offered to take me in his car the 20kms. They are both such sweet people. And a perfect tonic for anyone who has flown in from Delhi, these people are the real Indians. Sonnam really is ever present and at your disposal. Nice rooms, good food in the courtyard restaurant. Its unlikely that I will visit Ley again, as nice as it is because the world is a big place. I have no hesitation in recomending this hotel. Thank you so much Sonnam. Gary Or Mr Gary as you always reffered to me. It was my pleasure😁”
