The room is a bit cold at night; I had to ask for an extra blanket. Maybe offering the guests hot water bags is also a good idea. The lighting at night is also very poor and white cold; you barely see and it is not cozy, I think this can improve very easily. The toilet can be nicer, although it had the basics, a bit more of comfort will be appreciated. Also, the toilet wall is very thin or poorly isolated, so you can hear your guest neighbour as if he/she is in the room with you. In my case was a very unpleasant man making throat noises and spitting all the time. That was a bit disgusting. Improving the isolation will improve the relaxation and rest of your guests.

The room is big and has a lot of light, it was a corner room. The room was clean and offered also a lot of storing space and also a little dining corner. The patio is also charming and neat. The staff was very helpful trying to be flexible about payment methods finding a way that suited my needs as an international traveller. The staff was always responding my needs and solving problems very fast. The water was cut from the night to the morning, apparently a problem with an open tap by another guest. I just told them in the morning, and 2 minutes later it was fixed, so probably if I had talked earlier, it would have been fixed the night before.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The shower was of a wet room style and there was not always hot water.

The restaurant was always open and available. Meals were good and as westerners we did not yet I’ll at all! Service from staff was of the highest level. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious with private bathroom.

Short walk to the market, but easy to do. The room was cold in the beginning of June but the extra blankets were plenty to stay warm.

Every one at Metnokling is amazing. Super nice people all around. They helped me book taxis, get permits, everything I needed. The owner even took me on a taxi tour which I learned a great deal about Ladakh from. Amazing place.

Little bit cold at start of April when we went but heaters are available at a small cost and it was the very start of the season.

Staff were really friendly and helpful with suggesting and organising trips. Want to do what they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We both really enjoyed our stay and the owner and staff were great.

Prices for airport pick-up/drop-off could be a little bit more flexible for guests that pay extra for breakfast every day and go on tours organized by the property.
