It is located in a quiet area, 10 mins from Modica which we used as a base to explore the surrounding towns. Giorgio the owner was very helpful with his local knowledge and advice. The property can be a bit tricky to find - our GPS did not recognise the address so we used the GPS coordinates provided by Booking.com N 036° 49.337, E 14° 44.403 with no problems. Giorgio will organise to meet you at a supermarket not too far away if you have troubles with location. There is a beautiful pool area which is a great place to relax at the end of the day. A wonderful place to stay.”

“Wonderful! Sicily is not only beautiful landscapes and great food, but also loveliest people. This was true for all the places we stayed during the 3 week trip, but in Case degli Avi even more so. We arrived after a very long drive and were met by a very lovely family, who showed around the amazing house, part of which is a small museum. We were also treated to local chocolate and almond cookies and got a welcome box with cold drinks and brioches. Since we arrived late on Saturday when the stores were already closed, this was more than a perfect welcome. The house itself is amazing, restored with love and attention to every detail and somehow always smells nice :) And the jet shower is all you need after a day of walking around. The location is great too, within a walking distance to everywhere you will want to see in Modica. Grazie mille Giovanni, Massimo and Rita <3!”

“The property is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is fine. There is a terrace above the property with a clothes drying area and table and chairs to relax. Simona met us on arrival and helped us settle in and provided nice sweets as a welcoming. There is a great view up to the old town of Modica. Simona provided great advice for a restaurant and was always concerned that our stay was enjoyable. Parking is right outside the front of the property and is not difficult. We would stay again.”
