“This is an amazing place to stay. The apartment is on the roof and so despite it being in the town, the noise level is low. It is modern and bright with overtones of luxury which made the holiday lovely. The furnishings were wonderful - the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in - the decor was striking but marvellous. The bathroom was spacious. There are two very well-equipped kitchens (!) which made me wish we were staying longer in order to try the oven. There is even a shower outside. The owner had provided some drinks in the fridge and little cakes as a welcome. Very efficient air-conditioning. It was safe and secure due to the locks on the door. It was five minutes to a supermarket and less than five minutes to some great restaurants and ice-cream. The photographs do not do it justice.”

You do need a car to get to the house. However, it is a good home base if you are visiting either Selinunte or Agrigento. Lorenzo, his wife and son are warm, charming and thoughtful hosts. They respected our privacy but were always available for questions and assistance. They let us sample their freshly pressed olive oil, pickled olives, limoncello, and jam. During our stay, we observed the olive harvesting in their orchard and Lorenzo arranged for us to visit the olive oil processing plant at our request given that our stay was during the olive harvesting season. Their generosity and kindness truly made our visit to Sicily unforgettable. We hope we can go back and stay longer next time.”

“Everything. The flat is recently refurbished, clean, luminous. Bed is comfortable, shower hot, I was there in winter and there was heating, the kitchen is functional. Quiet at night, and safe environment. The location is ideal, a 5 mn walk to the old town. But the best of all was the attention given by the host, Chiara, who went out of her way to make me feel at home. She cared about all the small details that make your stay so easy and enjoyable. But that’s not all, she also spent a great deal of time to introduce me to the city. Chiara is the nicest person.”

“I visited Sciacca to meet up with a friend and booked a room with balcony and sea view at the Angora Panoramic for 2 nights. Primarily, I was looking for accommodation that was centrally located, safe and clean and not part of a souless hotel chain. This hotel is exceptional, it's tastefully decorated, clean and private. Sergio, the owner is friendly, courteous and an extremely helpful gentleman and he's proud of his hotel, quite rightly! He goes the extra mile to help you feel at home and welcomed. You enter the hotel via the their large wooden portico doors, then go up a stunning marble staircase to their entrance overlooking a courtyard. The baroque building is beautiful. My room overlooked the main street and piazza and it was a joy to watch and listen to the buzz of Italians with their families and friends enjoying their walks, ice-creams, festa entertainments. My room was beautiful and immaculate, my bathroom had a luxurious roll top cast iron bath, great for self indulgent soaks, following hot long days exploring the stunning surrounding areas. I certainly will be staying here again and highly recommend this place if you want to spoil yourself!”
