“I big resort hotel which occupied the whole island. Excellent and beautiful outdoor Osen overseeing the sea, the room is big with excellent seaview, we also took a walk to the peak of the island (inside the hotel area), we had a foot bath there and at the same time watching the sunset........so romantic! With the free shuttle boat, it is easy to reach the town.”

Situated in Katsuura, 7 km from Nachi Waterfall, Minshuku Kamenoi boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. All rooms include a flat-screen TV.
“The host was super nice and friendly and had everything ready when we arrived. He also helped us carrying our heavy luggage up the stairs. The room is spacious and clean; the ofuro/Japanese bath is ver comfortable and a great way to unwind after a long day. We had the accommodation with the breakfast option. The breakfast was traditional Japanese breakfast with stir-fried fish, (Japanese) egg omelette, pickles, rice and miso soup. It was simple and delicious. Base on this I could imagine their dinner to be a happy affair as well. Even if you did not eat at the ryokan, we went to a traditional eat at the counter (table also available) Japanese restaurant/izakaya recommended by the host called Ichirin. It was very good and amazing value for money.”
