To find an access point to the beach, you need to be lucky, as the whole area is almost completely fenced in. They don't seem to like tourists too much, in Kaji-Say. Ideal place to read a book - or to write your memoirs... ;)”

“The room has own bathroom with good hot shower and own mini refrigerator, the bedroom is upstairs and we can see Issyk Kul Lake from the window. We can go to the lake by 5min walk, and there are some cafes and shops nearby. The staff is very friendly and kind, they bring kettle and hot-water bags, though we didn't need hot-water bags at the beginning of Jun. Wifi is little bit weak at the room, but we can connect internet with own sim card. We relaxed at comfortable spacious common spaces.”

“Everything was amazing. Thanks to Olga Aleksandrovna. She was VERY VERY kind and did for us a lot, so we could have a great time. She is very welcoming and treats guests very warmly, not only us, but others too, I saw, really. It is lovely, that she invites to her kitchen and has conversation in order to get to know each other better. The environment, garden is great too. I loved that cute cat.”

“We had the most idyllic stay here. Greeted by the owner’s lovely mother and given a delicious snack of home-grown tomatoes and salt. Lovely lovely home stay. Very clean and the outside area is currently full of their summer fruits. The owner himself, Auaz, speaks good English and could not have been more hospitable, helping us with anything we need. Really good location, close to the beautiful lake beach but far enough away to feel peaceful and secluded. Auaz goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything and are okay. We ran into some difficulty with the freshly tarmacked road (classic English girls) and he helped us all day. Thank you Auaz!!!”
