“Our hosts were very welcoming and obliging. The location in the forest reminded us a little of our own south-west of Western Australia and after travelling in cities for six weeks it was nice to be in the "bush". The central heating was awesome and this would be one toasty cabin in the depths of winter. Harold and Willie's dog Xila had six puppies that were 12 days old when we arrived. Cute plus :) Putten is a very pretty town and we easily did day trips to Amsterdam and the Hague. We'd happily stay again.”

“Place was quiet and peaceful. Very sweet looking chalet. Shower head needed repair, as water was spraying in all directions. This was attended to speedily by the owner. Living room was very spacious. Lots of garden chairs to relax and enjoy the countryside view outside. Garden chairs also had lots of garden cushions. Horses in the nearby paddock adds to the countryside ambience. Kitchen had lots of cute array of cups and glasses to suit all preferences. Refrigerator is very big and very clean... in very good condition. There is a huge trampoline outside for those travelling with kids. A great fun time for the kids. We requested for a half-hour later check out (10am) and was given permission very quickly and easily by the owner.”
