“The hotel was located in a beautiful area with wonderful views of snow capped mountains and fjord. Geiranger the king of the Norwegian fjords was nearby and the famous Trollstiggen Road. There were wonderful walks. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Food was excellent - plenty of choice for breakfast - herrings, smoked salmon, poached salmon, eggs, cereals, hams, salamis and home made jams.”

“we had a whole house to ourselves, the staff had informed us in advance that we might have other guests to share common areas, this would have been fine, and it was nice we were advised in advance. This was the nicest place we stayed in Norway.. The restaurant they run is excellent and the server even brought us our food to our suite, her idea... so we could watch The Euro 2016 soccer.. The owner even came in early the next day to have our breakfast ready for 08:00 even so we appeared to be the only guests that night... We highly recommend this place. Also it was very quiet at night even though by main road... little to no night traffic”
