The Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room - not a bad thing for a honeymoon/holiday but something the owner should know. The check in process was easy but odd because the people working at the restaurant had to leave their post to show us the house and room. We were hoping to do the strawberry field walk mentioned on the website but that wasn’t addressed nor did it seem available.

We ended up having the whole house to ourselves which was incredibly relaxing and allowed us to feel like we could spread out/not have to be out or in our rooms during our stay. The restaurant was open when we arrived and was good (though closes early) and the breakfast spread was nice - it was nice to be flexible and choose when we ate as well. The room was comfortable but small and the bathrooms were great. Lovely big kitchen, living area, and porch. Lovely views.

Although breakfast was good (including fresh berries and jam), but it's pretty basic and gets delivered to you the night before. This surprised us, because the pictures showed cakes and other things, which turned out to be from the restaurant that the owners operate. It's located on a main road, so it can get a little loud.

The room had a great view. Kitchen is small but was equipped just fine. Hosts were very nice and helpful.

Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room and clean facilities. Plenty of parking space on site. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious and served very professionaly.

The meat slices were over cooked at dinner.

Good for a one night stop like we did. Staff were helpful to make sure everything was ok for us. We had dinner here as well. The cake was very nice! There was a kitchen in the old house where we stayed, which we didn’t use. We were able to relax in the living room of the house.

Having three separate guestrooms in the house, the guestrooms could be a little better sound isolated. Not really a problem.

Staying in the old house. It was newly refurbished, clean and fresh. Three guestrooms shared two baths. Very comfortable beds and a very good breakfast.

Beautiful surroundings... you can walk in the forest. Impressive breakfast... strawberries is the name of the place :). Nice old house... some pieces of real history inside. Very clean. On the main road but quiet as well. Large restaurant at the location. A place where you could relax and forget about anything...

Very kind owners, great breakfast, nice and comfortable beds, big and cozy (shared) living room. Everything is clean, there're two (nice) showers to share with 3 rooms in total. Bedlinnen and towels included.

Dirty towels left in the room from earlier guest. Dinner was nothing special. The strawberrycake that they are famous for, was not so good.

Breakfast was nice. The male-owner was nice, hus wife was grumpy and like couldn’t take critique.

They didnt seem to be happy to have us as a guest. They didnt have time to properly welcome us. They seemt to be to busy with their restaurant. The bed we had was to worn down. The matress was oké, but the bed itself felt it could break down every minute. They only have seetrough curtains in the window (still after years of complaints in the reviews). In the evening they come in to check the Doors. It felt more if they were checking us, but thats only my perception. Dont know why they get good reviews. It's way to expensive for the quality you get. Over 100 euro for a shared accomodation and nothing realy up to date.

I wouldnt stay again. But thats me. Maby we started wrong by not feeling welcome.

Big, verty comfortable farmhouse with only 3 rooms makes for great experience. Hosts are super nice and run restaurant up front with amazing home meals (don't forget to order something with strawberries). Breakfasts obviously are great too. But most valuable is location - between all the best attractions of the region. You have max an hour+ drive to Alesund, Geiranger, Andelsnes and 15 minutes to Troll Road.

It's a great place after spending a day in geringer . If you are planning to visit trollstigen the next day, then it's an ideal place as the distance is very short from here. Additionally, The breakfast was very nice. It's a great value for money.
