The charming Kantary Bay is a beach-front hotel, 15 minutes away from Phuket town.
“I absolutely loved my time at this hotel. So much that I intend to come back again next year. Things to love about this hotel: Rooms are lovely - I had a studio with a view of the bay. In my room there was a kitchenette/lounge area and then steps down to a massive and very comfy bed. I am a bit of a bed snob so it was a bonus it was so comfy. You get two small bottles of water each day for your fridge. The hotel has that intimate family run type feel with good quality touches such as two pools (including a roof top pool with panoramic view of the bay - stunning place to catch sunsets if your room isn't already facing west). In some hotels you can have trouble getting fresh beach towels - but here they are always available when you need them. The staff here are so lovely. If you have any questions then they are are very keen to help. There is free wifi in your room and throughout the hotel, which was strong enough to stream telly on my phone. This hotel does not have a beach in front of it - but there is a regular shuttle bus outside the hotel that takes you on a five minute drive up and down a hill to the hotel's sister hotel Cape Panwar. This is a larger flashier hotel with a gorgeous private beach with decent beach restaurant and bar. It has an amazing posher hotel restaurant in a plantation style house on the beach and the food there is really good. The Kantary Bay hotel is near some good independent restaurants and tuktuk market traders on the road outside selling souvenirs and very tasty street food. The hotels own restaurants are good too, with a very good fish restaurant. You can buy vouchers for the hotel and sister hotel restaurants and there are some free vouchers if you buy five or ten at a time. There were about 950 bhats when I went but that doesn't included drinks - but you can share a voucher between people. The hotel breakfasts are plentiful and of good quality.”

“My holiday in this hotel was simply amazing!! Is a good hotel if you want to have a quite and relaxed holiday away from crowded places. Staff are nice especially ying and another girl always working with her. Very clean rooms and last day of my holiday I found on my bed a really nice decoration. I really appreciate:) I stayed 2 weeks and if I had to be back I ll choose again crowne Plaza . Everything was excellent. The only thing is the sea ... not really excellent but very nice place and the sea room view was great! I advise if you wanna have some trips go on the left side of the beach is a super nice agency named salika and they do great great trips. I had a trip everyday and I had a lot of fun. Also restaurant I will highly recommend the sea food restaurant just on the street near the hotel. When you go out of the hotel go on the right and there is a really tiny street, 50 mt you will find this characteristic restaurant with nice Thai food. Delicious! And also cheep taxi you can go on the agency on the left side of the beach. ;)”
