Hotel Sun Wang is very close to the bus station and easy to find. Not all the staff speaks English but there will be staff around who does. Check-in time is after 3 PM. Recommended!”

What do a typical hostel offer you, in terms of facilities, cleanliness & comfort? I believe most backpackers know it well. An awesome hostel is rare> Here Hostel houses a contemporary interior, along with high-end facilities, only seen in 5-stars hotel. A few to name: japanese ionic hairdryer, japanese toilet seats, projector TV etc.. Also, a shared kitchen if you would like to whip a meal for yourself / share with the folks @the hostel. The living room is a place where you chill & mingle with the others. Being a fussy backpacker, my top concerns are: cleanliness of the shared bathroom & overall cleanliness, which I am well-contented. There is no lift in the hostel, it is advisable to consider travelling light, ie: small luggage that you can carry & walk up a flight of stairs (3-storey). If you are lucky, meet the hospitable owner, who is pretty well-travelled, which explains the quality of Here Hostel. No word can describe the stay @Here Hostel and in Puli. Experience it yourself!”

“Our host picked us up from the bus station and stopped by a food outlet to let us purchase dinner upon request. Room was very clean with futons. A kitchen is located next to our room. It's not equipped but good enough to cook simple meals like instant noodles or make hot beverages. A large fridge means we could buy lots of fresh fruits (which Puli is famous for) and enjoy throughout our 2 day stay. The large lounge has a large flat screen TV. Family Mart and eating facilities are located at the end of the street. Walking to Puli bus station takes about 15 minutes. There are lots of food stalls and shops along the way. Our lady host offered to take us to the bus station or deliver our luggage to us when we got there as we still have more sight seeing to do after checking out. We ended up getting our suitcases ourselves by taxi during our return trip from Chung Tai Chan Monastery.”
