I also very impressed with the lady lifeguard who was very helpful - volunteered to dry my swimsuit and offered some suggestions to improve my swimming. Overall the facility is clean and comfortable. But maybe it is still new, I still find some construction dust in the corner of the bathroom.”

“I have never met as many warm, wonderful people as i did in Taitung - including the staff at the Z hotel! Not only did the owner upgrade my room, but he also offered my new friend a free breakfast ticket so we can eat together! I also appreciated that after a small earthquake the staff called to make sure i am not scared. The room was spacious and very clean. Comfortable bed and strong wifi. Perfect location on the main street and close to the famous Blue Dragon chicken restaurant and the Railway Art Village where there are concerts every weekend. I was lucky to see Matzka live! Many places to buy the delicious custard apple as well. The breakfast is varied and it's a mix of western and Taiwanese dishes that i enjoyed. Oh, and free laundry service! Overall a great experience and i will surely be back in Taitung!”

“our flight was delayed & it caused us to arrive late @ Taitung Train Station. The lady boss called to check out if we were alright? That is so kind & detailed of her! She even drove to Taichung Train Station & waited for us there, since it was already nearly 10pm when we arrived. She is such a helpful person, as she asked & help on to prepare for our next day's travel. Her place is beautiful & clean ; our room is equipped with all the necessities. It has 2 double beds! The room's aircond is quite cold though! Her hand made breakfast is so nice & big portion! We were so surprised by her effort of waking up early to prepare such a decent breakfast for us! We cant thank her enough for that! She even asked us to leave behind our huge luggage in her place & she sent our luggage back to us at Taitung Train Station after we were back from Green Island! Highly recommended place to stay in Taitung! Shout out to the lady boss : we thank you so much for all your help & advise during our 1 night stay at your place. Thumbs up for EVERYTHING - ideal location, clean & spacious room, delicious handmade breakfast & ALL your effort in helping us! It is close to the Taitung park, where it is super nice to ride the bike. Free breakfast coupons (for the value of 50NTD), which you can use in several different places, e.g. one Chinese places just 3 walking minutes away or McDonalds, if you do not like the options at the Chinese breakfast place. The owner is very nice and helpful. He ordered for us a taxi to pick us up from the train station for a slightly cheaper fare as well as better fares for the ferry to Green island.”
