Situated just 850 metres from the ICC Sydney, Novotel Sydney Darling Square offers 230 refurbished rooms with Darling Harbour views. The check-in process was very smooth and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable for a 2-night stay. The bathroom had good lighting and powerful double showerheads. It was conveniently located for easy access to Paddy's Market, Darling Harbour, and Chinatown. The closest light-rail station was a 2 min away. The bonus extra was having umbrella's available for guest use when it rained. I asked for a complimentary late check-out which was provided and used the baggage storage facility until it was time to head to the airport which is under a 20-minute drive away. I would happily stay here again.

28 Hotel is located 7 minutes from Central Train Station. This property offers free WiFi, room service and an on-site fitness centre. When my 18 year old got stranded in Sydney, with their also 18 year old friend, due to a mix up with have inadequate ID at a YHA, this property were kind and understanding in providing a room for them to stay in after a concert. I called and spoke to reception before booking and experienced care and concern for the situation. They allowed my 18 year old, who has ID, to check in with their friend, who doesn’t have any. Both young people were received by friendly staff who checked them in without issue. Their stay was pleasant and uneventful. Thank you form this very relieved mum.

Great Southern Hotel is located in a historic 19th-century building in the heart of Sydney CBD (Central Business District), just 5 minutes’ walk from Central Station. Really good, strongly recommend. Good location, good value for money, good value breakfast if you want it, nice rooms. The best hotel I stayed in in Australia, strong all-rounder.

Situated in the heart of the popular Darling Harbour entertainment district, Holiday Inn is ideally located for sightseeing, nightlife and shopping. The room was a good size for 3 people. It was very clean, with a comfortable bed, and a really nice bathroom. The location was great, very near the LRT stop and close to some very good restaurants. Wifi was free and signal was good all throughout the hotel. The check-in was very smooth and the staff were super friendly. We didn't get the breakfast at the hotel but my friends who stayed there as well did and they said it was a good spread and worth the money. Overall, a perfect place to stay in Sydney.

Refurbished in 2021, Mercure Sydney offers contemporary, spacious and light-filled rooms with renovated bathrooms, bedside USB ports, rain showers and a dedicated work space. Location was amazing, Room was excellent, very very comfortable

Located in the heart of Sydney, across from Central Station and a short drive from Pitt Street Mall shops, Central Studio Hotel Sydney offers guests contemporary accommodations. Location of the hotel is very strategic, it’s just across the Central Station, light rails stops nearby, hairdressers around, eateries, supermarkets and walking distance to Paddy’s Market. It’s been three decades since my last visit to Sydney. This trip was just amazing with Vivid Sydney 2023. Most importantly, the hotel met most of my key expectations when it came to accommodations. Thank you to the team at Central Studio Hotel Sydney. I definitely will be back again!
