The staff was very kind. We arrived earlier around lunchtime and we could check in earlier as well. The room was a good size, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Hotel has fantastic location. It is near old town. We had a room with very nice view. It was our very first time in Basel, and in Switzerland we are in love with this city. Staff from hotel was very helpful and kind. Room was very clean. I recommend you to take breakfast because it’s really delicious. As tourists you get tourists card so you can explore whole city and get discounts on all attractions. Also public transport is foc, so it makes your stay more interesting. Receptionist are very kind and they are also suggesting what you can visit and where you can go. Our stay in hotel was fantastic so we are coming back again!

Hotel brasserie au violon offers rooms with free WiFi in Basel, attractively situated 200 metres from Architectural Museum and 300 metres from Basel Cathedral. The hotel was adjacent to a church and a music museum and the surroundings were calm. The room was exactly as shown in the photos and was nicely and clean. I stayed alone and was able to rest comfortably on a wide bed with a good firmness mattress. The shower had hot water. The heating was off, probably because it was the beginning of March, but I turned it on as it got cold at night. It was nice that it warmed up quickly. The hotel is located at the top of a gently sloping staircase path, but you can also take the lift. Check-out was 11am, which gave me enough time to explore the centre in the morning, have breakfast and then return to the hotel. Highly recommended!

Convenient location to tram, restaurants and grocery store. It was great that there was a washing machine available and drying racks. The balcony was great.

Apartment is lovely furnished and well equipped with everything you need. Location is just perfect, close to everything. Check in was easy.

Beautiful spacious apartment in the centre of basel. Close to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Also very close to some of the main view points and attractions. Apartment was a good size for a couple would likely be a bit of a squish for 4 people however. Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom was a good size with a lovely shower. Bed was reasonably comfortable although very firm. All things you could need such as iron, airer, TV, cleaning products etc. Check in was easy, collection of keys from a key box outside the apartment and a spare set of keys on the inside.
