This hotel is in Liverpool city centre, opposite the Albert Dock and 300 metres from the Liverpool One shopping centre. Ibis should really consider adding the word"ergonomics" to their corporate name because they are masters in design and comfort at the most reasonable prices. Their Liverpool hotel at the Albert Docks is may be the best designed hotel room l've stayed in on my 4-month backpacking adventure. I had to just sit and marvel at it for the first few minutes. As a budget traveler there is no better feeling than being understood in the way that Ibis understands us. I want a reasonable price. I want a great location in the heart of everything. I want places to organize my things. They're amazing at this. I want easy access to good food that is affordable and also a nearby grocery store. I want to know that the hotel is doing all they can to keep me safe. Hot shower in a large enough space to move around and enter and exit with dignity. Wifi that is reliable. A friendly and attentive staff. A place outside to smoke because, yes, some adults do smoke. Places to just sit and read or hang out to chat. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. All of this plus a billiards table awaits you at Albert Docks. They've made it so that the budget traveler doesn't have to feel like they have to make huge compromises to travel to large cities. But the thought that they put into the room design - ergonomically speaking - is so appreciated.

Very tidy, nice aroma welcomes you upon entering the property, Bren was highly responsive and accommodating, property has a well equipped kitchen though I didn’t use it, washing machine with washing tablets came in handy when I spilled coffee on my trouser, very comfy bed, didn’t spend a lot of time due to the long duration conference at nearby ACC, which is 10 min walking; eateries in the city centre were 20 min walk away;

YHA Liverpool Albert Dock is a modern, 4-star hostel set in the heart of the city, next to the Albert Dock and 10 minutes’ walk from vibrant nightlife. The best hostal that I have ever stayed at. Very clean and very comfortable. The staff was so helpful and friendly!
