Hongdae is a great place to stay while visiting korea and L7 lotte is right by the metro exit. Super comfortable to move around in the city. LOTTE City Hotel Mapo is located above five levels of shops and clinics, and offers an indoor pool, a fitness centre and a car park. Breakfast was tasty with continental and a korean options. Loved the blackout curtains. The room was really spacious. The cleaning staff were amazing, my room was well looked after and cleaned, they were all so friendly. Although it was a 3 star hotel, it felt like a 4 star hotel service! Underneath the hotel is a shopping complex with restaurants, cafes and a Lotte supermarket, very convenient!

Conveniently situated in Seoul, Local Stitch Creator Town Seogyo provides air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a garden. Fantastic facility in a great place. Perfect size room for solo travelling and a great location only a short walk from Hongik University station. Staff were really helpful and friendly and you can even check in and out via machine if you’re super introverted.

In a prime location in the centre of Seoul, Pillowsopher Hongdae provides free WiFi and a shared lounge. Clean, well equipped with nespresso and chromecast. The room we had did not face the main street and very minimal street sounds could be heard on a Saturday night in the room. Great location and would be happy to stay again.
