Seochon Guesthouse is set in the Jongno-gu district in Seoul, 600 metres from Gyeongbokgung Palace. The Korean-style rooms come with Ondol, Korean heated flooring, and futon mats. I had a marvellous stay with mrs. Lee and mr. Shim! They were most welcoming and helpful. Home made breakfast was amazing. The property itself is beautiful and located in a quiet alley, but close to the subway and Gyeongbokgung Palace. It was an authentic experience, but really felt like home. Would love to come back again someday!

In the Jongno-Gu district of Seoul, close to Jogyesa Temple, Memory Stay Seoul Jongro Hanok has a garden and a washing machine. Such a pretty lovely house located right at Sejong Food Street where there are tons of eateries filled with locals eating drinking, having their rounds 2, 3, just like in Kdramas. Something in the Rain was filmed here & it's a stonethrow away from Gyeongbukgong & Tosokchon. The house is very newly renovated, we even settled most of our laundry here to reduce the load when we get home, they even have games for us to play together. When we went to collect our luggage before heading to the airport, even though they were cleaning, they actually offered to make a cup of hot tea for my mum but just then, our ride came. Touched by their hospitality too! Highly recommended!

The place is clean and tidy, with a comfortable double bed, 2 single mattresses for kids, and enough space to stay comfortably. It is well located in Seoul, close to lots of restaurants and shops, with train and bus stations nearby, allowing quick access to many places. The owners are local, friendly, and very easy to deal with and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay.

A recently renovated property, Viva La Vida - Seochon Private Apartment is set in Seoul near Gyeongbokgung Palace, Dongwha Duty Free Shop. Super clean, and fancy. It’s a perfect place for enjoying the heart of Seoul city. Also, the host was very responsive and helpful. My family loved this place, and I would definitely recommend :)

In the Jongno-Gu district of Seoul, close to Jogyesa Temple, Hans House features a garden and a washing machine. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The location was great. Just a couple of minutes away from Gyeongbokgung Palace, bus station and the food alley. The owner was awesome, very nice and very helpful. Highly recommended! We spent Christmas Eve at the house and Mr. Han gave us rice cake and fruits. A sweet gesture that we really appreciate. My kids enjoyed playing at the garden as well especially during the snowfall on Christmas Day.

Lydia welcomes you with tea and treats, and a tour of the home and the area, including good places to hike and eat. If this is your first visit to Seoul, you will find her inside information very helpful. Our family of 7 had a very comfortable stay and the guesthouse can easily sleep 9 comfortably. Some of our favorite nearby visits along with the other sites she may mention are Statue of Admiral Yi Sun-Sin, Statue of King Sejong the Great (and museum), and the Cheonggyecheon. Please note that the address on Google Maps and Naver Maps (LUDIA Crafts Guest House) will lead you to the wrong street. You might want to try 8 Pirundae-ro 1-gil, as that will be right in front of the alley that leads to the guest house.

NagNe House Boutique Hanok in Seoul provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a bar. The two guys from the hotel were sooo nice and speak very good english. The room is little but clean and close to the subway. It is also very quiet.

Located in Seoul and only 2.2 km from Jogyesa Temple, Shim San Jae provides accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. We loved our stay at Shim San Jae. We enjoyed the traditional style house, and the neighborhood is fabulous. Lots of small shops, bakeries and restaurants, great local market, and even hiking, all within walking distance. And, a little longer walk or bus ride to the center of Seoul, palaces, etc. Friendly, safe neighborhood. The house has everything you need, including kitchen and laundry. Great air conditioning. Kitchen is well equipped. Absolutely no complaints, except that we wished we had booked it for our last few days in Seoul too!
