George and Becca where great hosts, keeping in contact, providing a brochure on local "things to do", pubs and restaurants. The dining and living areas are comfortable and we especially enjoyed the fireplace. Bedrooms were very comfortable. This property is within a 20/25 minute walk of the town (seafront/promenade). Private parking for one car is available. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our nine days at Sid Valley View, highly recommended and we would stay there again, and again.

Absolutely lovely staff, hotel, room and restaurant. We had room #7 which was really spacious and even nicer than the pictures. I’m sorry we didn’t catch your name but mr. tall man in the reception/restaurant – thanks for a lovely visit.

It's just - you feel at home immediately. I had been walking 5 hours from Exmouth, fell into a comfortable chair and could have a beer - that felt wonderful. Very comfortable room, hearty breakfast, excellent view over the sea, 3everything perfect!

Cider cottage and its garden are very nice. The rooms are spacious with lots of seating for all 6 of us. The grounds are nice for walking and there were great games to play: croquet, tennis, creek walks, ping pong. The two staff members we met were OUTSTANDING! They were very responsive to our inquiries. They graciously let us place our refrigerated groceries in the fridge prior to our check in time! Be sure to bring your own condiments and shower/bath soap. There was plenty of dish soap available.

We've stayed in this holiday village before (in a different property) and really love the quiet location when we go to visit family who live in Sidmouth. There are no facilities on the site but plenty of space for the kids to run around and the nearby walking distance Donkey Sanctuary has a nice cafe and things to do. The property was clean and comfortable.

Staying at Cheriton feels almost like being a guest at your relatives' country house :) This is a really nice cozy family hotel. The owners are very kind and helpful. They advised me about some hiking routes and lent me an umbrella. You can choose your breakfast options and they cook it by the time you have arranged previously. The breakfast is really tasty! The room was very clean, the bed was comfy.

The cottage was very large, tidy, clean and comfy. It is in a beautiful green spot, what looks like an old farm with a play area for children. It has its own small garden and picnic bench and a BBQ, which is lovely. I think it would be great for a family with older kids or a group of friends.

Great location. Spacious room. Staff were friendly, professional and went above and beyond. Even though it was busy they were always happy to help. We come with a certain amount of chaos with 2 small children, one of whom has additional needs and staff were understanding and accommodating. The breakfast was tasty and set us up for the day. Would definitely stay again.
