We felt like close to the nature. The beds were very comfortable. The food was super delicious and the Safari that we booked with them was very nice. We asked them to leave 30minutes earlier and they managed to do so. Our Safari guide Oshan was very nice and put a lot of effort into our experience and showed a lot of different animals.

Great accommodation and a beautiful garden were we had dinner every night next to the camp fire. The full day safari is a must! We saw so much wild life, including a leopard and a bear and at lunch time we had a perfect spot at the river for a picnic and a swim. The host, Marc, went above and beyond to give us the best experience in Yala. He is fun and very knowledgeable about literally every animal and bird in the park. The next day we did a half safari and for the afternoon Marc had organized a safari in Udawalale (with the elephants) with their female ranger Chathu. She is wonderful, fun and knowledgeable and we had such a great time. We will definitely come back next year!

Situated in Yala, less than 1 km from Situlpawwa, Kulu Safaris - All Inclusive features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with a terrace. Kulu Safaris is a completely exceptional place to stay in every way and it was the highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Our guide, Jeana, was very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan wildlife and a lovely person, we learnt a lot from talking to her on our safaris. We also went kayaking on the lake which was beautiful. The tents are so comfortable to stay in and it's a very peaceful location, surrounded by nature. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and we were served our meals in different locations around the site, which was beautiful and very romantic. It is expensive, but the safari and other activities is included, as well as all food and drink, and so I think it is definitely worth the money, particularly as Kulu is very eco-conscious and ensures minimal disruption to the wildlife. Overall, I couldn't recommend staying at Kulu more highly, and I hope to go back one day.
