Lovely tiny apartment next to golf course, such a quiet place. The place was incredibly clean, and all the amenities I could wish for to cook some dinner and breakfast.

Great location next to a golf place, comfy kitchen with everything you need, super clean. It's a self check-in hotel, so you can travel without pressure.

Modern and a nice setting overlooking the golf course area. The kitchen was well equipped but doesn’t have a microwave. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well setup.

It’s a golf course hotel with fantastic views and lovely hot tubs and sauna. Restaurant has views, too. The rooms are very plain and small, but our patio had a phenomenal view of mountains! Beds were just ok, shower was good. Location is good.

The staff were absolutely superb - could not have been more helpful. The restaurant is exceptional and we had an absolutely fabulous dinner there in the evening. We loved the grounds and golf course and the fact that there were so many walks and hikes mapped out for us to take from the hotel. The room was comfortable and the surroundings beautiful. All in all we had a great stay, thank you!

The setting was beautiful and it is far enough out of the city that if skies are clear you can see the the northern lights. The rooms are lovely and comfortable with a door leading to the golf course. Breakfast had ample choice and was delicious.

Hotel Hamar is an attractive hotel situated in the beautiful countryside of the Borgarfjörður fiord with spectacular mountains in view. It is a haven for golfers. It offers a full, comprehensive breakfast and evening dining of a high standard.

Only stayed one night, lovely golf course, stunning views ,comfortable bed and room. The breakfast was amazing!
