I liked pretty well everything. The room was comfortable & clean. I loved sitting on the verandah, and showering in the half-open air. Most of the meals were delicious. And on a scale of 1 to 10, Eddy the manager was an 11: finding me a guide, advising me on what to see, taking me on his motor scooter anywhere I needed to go. The warung is well located near the top of Senaru, close to the waterfalls and the start of the Rinjani walk. It's simple, but great value for money.

You will arrive as a guest and you will leave as a family member. The hospitality is incredible. I felt very welcome and comfortable. You are invited to join them to have some local food or drink together, if you like. But if you want to do your own thing, that's good too. A great place to stay! Hot showers. A true homestay with a lovely, welcoming family and staff. Very quiet and natural surroundings, it's in the middle of rice fields. Organizing trips, hikes, transport, everything can be arranged. Highly recommended!

A massive thankyou to our great guide (Anton) and porters who made sure we were well fed with lots of fresh fruit and very prepared if we needed anything along the route! We had an awesome time on the Crater rim trek walking through the native jungle and seeing the rare ebony leaf monkey. Jull was excellent in organizing everything from the start of enquiry. The location is super close to the entrance of the waterfalls, not even 1 minute to walk... Directly on the street there are some good and cheap warungs. During our stay it was very quiet and it felt like we were the only tourists. You can't expect much from the rooms and breakfast, but for this price we were not disappointed. And for only one night it was all fine.
