Gerard’s was in a beautiful location, and so was Father’s Guesthouse! Very peaceful but at a good short walking distance from shops. We were upgraded to Father’s Guesthouse for our honeymoon and we can’t thank Jay and the team enough - it was a beautiful stay throughout with all amenities present e.g. hot water, nice bathrooms, nice room with a decent view, peace and quiet, excellent location

Everything was perfect, Bryan is a fantastic host and his apartment has been our favourite stay in Malaysia! We were very comfortable at Wogoxette Upstairs, it’s designed really well and the location gives you a good flavour of local life and culture in Kuala Terla. I booked for 3 nights and stayed 4 nights. A lovely homely guesthouse. Very clean and comfortable. Kannagi the owner is very kind and friendly. She booked my bus for Penang. Free water to refill my bottle and hot water to make coffee, a good way to save a bit of money. The location is superb, right next to the bus terminal and lots of places to eat nearby. I did 3 days trekking and it was very very enjoyable on the different trails. I highly recommend this guesthouse.
