The ownership are wonderful people and did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful. It is right on the beach, and sunrises are amazing. The fishing was fun even though we didn't catch.

There are two bathrooms for each dorm room which is great! There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need and a lounge area both at receptions and upstairs. They also have yoga mats and weights for working out. Located across the beach at Pasifico with a few restaurants close by. Wifi worked great. Great hostel!

I want to open a hostel as well, and this hostel lives up to price vs quality vs design vs staff. I'm rating this hostel higher because no other competition is available. It's close to the beach, there are good local restaurants and you can rent a scooter etc. This hostel could be one of the best in Siargao. If you do not stay there, just come for the food - guess what, it's great too. ;-) Try the chicken mango curry! Delicious! I am still impressed by the staff: they remembered my name on the first day I was there.

The north of the island is really quiet and nice, but if you look for the party area of General Luna then it’s is not the right place for you.
