Thailand
We came to the Azores for our honeymoon and looked for a special place to stay. Alice's place was a great choice and exceeded our expectations. Firstly, the property is located in a beautiful location overlooking Mt. Pico and the view is spectacular. There is a small porch that overlooks the mountain and its a great spot to start the day with a cup of coffe and finish it under the stars with a hot cup of tea. The room was very clean, comfterable and the place had everything we needed (small kitchenette, wifi and laundry (that was amazing)). Moreover, Alice is a very kind and unique person and we are very glad we had the chance to meet her. We are extremely thankful to Alice for making our stay so comfortable and special - thank you for everything! We highly recommend this place :)

Everything was absolutely wonderful! Elena and Jerry really go the extra mile. The house is full or Jerry’s art, which gives it a nice homey touch. You can tell that they love what they are doing. Also if you have any questions about Faial they have the best advise. We tried out all recommended restaurants and coffee shops and they were all good. We would come back any time. Thanks for everything!

Very clean sweet renovated home. Everything we needed was there. The bedroom was small with private bathroom and air conditioning , it met our needs . There is the option to sit outside and the shared space is very inviting . It feels like home . I would definitely come back again !

The room was serviced every day and fresh towels provided. Breakfast was good - fresh fruit and juice, cornflakes, yoghourt, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs and fresh rolls, a griller to toast your cheese and ham roll. There were tea infusions and many ways of making an excellent cup of coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful..

Good location, very close to the ferry and a little away from the city center so it was quiet at night, but still possible to walk to the city center/Marina in 20 minutes. The host was very nice and helpful and very Quick to answer when We had a question. The washing machine and outdoor drying area was really nice. Helped us travel light :-)
