The Windsor Trooper is one of the most popular pubs in town, you’ll be presented with a warm welcome before sitting down to have a drink in the pub or wonderful sun trap garden. The bar stocks a fabulous selection of ales, traditional cider, a wide choice of Belgian beers, a fine wine selection and a large batch of gins, there is literally something for everyone. The Trooper also hosts live music every Thursday as well as a quiz night on the last Wednesday of each month. You’ll be hard-pushed to find a better atmosphere in Windsor. Very handy location and our grateful thanks to the staff who carried our bags up the stairs. Excellent place to stay.

The renovations have put the pride back into this historic inn, whilst retaining or enhancing its features First of all, it is the second time I have stayed at the hotel. The staff, the breakfast, the room, the location, dinner...whatever you choose the answer will be excellent.Spotless clean. Perfectly refurbished. I can go there just to stay one night to live the experience again. The staff from the reception to the kitchen are very friendly, and very well trained, and they all have great personalities that create a big difference. I can't thank them enough to show my appreciation. Especially to Max and Andrea. I would definitely go back with pleasure. It is a "must-see and stay" hotel.

Situated 10 miles from Royal Windsor Racecourse, The Bird In Hand is a 14th-century four-star inn, 4 miles from Maidenhead. It has free parking, free Wi-Fi, a bar and a restaurant, as well as a courtyard. Food and service was fab, beds were comfy.
