The owner has a TukTuk and for a very fair price, he picked me up/dropped me off at the train station. On top of this, he offered different excursion options on his TukTuk for tea plantations, hikes, waterfalls, etc. The owner honestly went above and beyond, not only was he a wonderful host, but also a great driver and tour guide. What really touched my heart was when he took me to the Horton Plains National Park and ended up doing the WHOLE hike with me because he did not want me to do it alone and wanted to make sure I was safe. Their home is a very cute 100+-year-old house, with two rooms. The room was spotlessly clean and had comfy beds with warm blankets for the chilly nights. The price includes breakfast and if you have an early excursion/train time they pack you a full breakfast as well! They also offer lunch and dinner, which the wife cooks. It was honestly the best food I had on my trip to Sri Lanka especially the chicken curry and dhal curry.

When we arrived we were greeted with the warmest welcome from our host and his family. The room we were in was absolutely stunning, big comfortable bed and beautiful views of the lake! Our host provided fresh coffee for us when we arrived and every morning after that. Nothing was too much for them!

The hosts has been adorable, we arrived pretty late in the night due to traffic issues and they still served us something to eat which was very good. We had a perfect stay!
