Tuscan style stone and wood house, located in the second row from the main road in an old olive grove with tall pine and cypress trees. The distance to the tarmac road is >100 metres, which guarantees silence and peace. Location on a sunny south facing slope. The property is separated from the neighbours (farmers) by a high wire mesh and the main metal gate is lockable. The lower boundary of the property is a valley floor with a mountain stream with a pebble bottom. An ideal place to stay with your dog. The view from the house is beautiful over the opposite slope of the valley (vineyards, forest) and the distant medieval hilltop towns (Roccastrada, Civitella M.). The main tourist attractions (Siena, Val d'Orcia) can be reached in an hour by car, the same amount of time it takes to reach the seaside beaches. Two-floor house, as in the Booking description. Idyllic, beautiful location with access to woods and olive grove. Exceptionally well maintained inside and out, with unusual high level of attention to details. Greeted with complimentary wine, huge fruit basket and kitchen basics. The key holder/cleaner waited for our delayed arrival and was super friendly and helpful. Good Wi-Fi connection. We loved the wood stove.
