It features a private beach area and a restaurant. Super friendly staff. The owners are great. There is a very friendly vibe. The food is delicious, homemade and shared with the other guests. The view from the room is incredible. The restaurant/ lounge area is super comfortable. Great dives and snorkel opportunities with equipment can be arranged on site. Diving instructors are amazing. You can even snorkel from the beach. Motorbike rentals can be arranged.

Guesthouse Guesthouse The 4 Fish is located in Tongkaina. Just 18 km from Manado and a 10-minute walk from a dive centre. It features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and rooms with views of the valley from the terrace. Free internet and parking are provided. Very friendly host who takes time for the individual interests of the guests.

Located in Bunaken, 3WILL Bunaken Dive Resort is only a short distance from beautiful snorkelling and diving spots. It boasts a diving centre, massage services and a tour desk.

Love the rustic cabins right on the shore. Food was very good. Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Diving staff were experienced, great guides, very friendly

Located right on Bara Beach in Bira, Cosmos Bungalows offers a beautifully simple beachfront accommodation where each bungalow has sea view. Free on-site parking space for guests who drive. The property has a lot of staircases and may not be suitable for elderly or young children. The bungalows are simple and very nicely decorated. The views are to die for. I loved the stairs straight down to the beach, the hammock on the veranda, simplicity, small scale and the overall value for money. The food is yummy and the staff and owner very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Also, check out the diving centre next door, GaiaOne Boutique diving.

Located on Bunaken Island along the Pangalisan Beach, Cakalang Resort offers diving and snorkeling opportunities on-site. It has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk.

Fan-cooled bungalows come with free Wi-Fi and feature garden and sea views. Tea/coffee-making facilities and an en suite bathroom with shower facilities are available. The food was very good. Ferdinand was great, the ferry wasn't running so he was able to find alternative transportation back and forth so we didn't miss out on our time at Bunaken. The reef is right in front of the facility.

Housed in hill-facing wooden cottages, the basic rooms are all equipped with a satellite TV and mosquito net. Private bathrooms come with running hot and cold water. Some rooms have a minibar and fridge. If you are ready for a breath of fresh, cool(er) air, then be ready for Highland Resort and Nature Tours in Tomohon. This delightful collection of villas is set at an elevation of 650 meters (2132 feet). Beautiful landscaping and lovely accommodations. We slept very comfortably in our room - even without an aircon unit! The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. They helped to arrange drivers and tours during our stay. We went to the crater edge of Gunung Lokon Volcano and later went to Tekaan Telu Waterfall. Along the way, we were greeted by friendly and curious locals. Be sure to learn a few basic greetings in Bahasa Indonesia and you may just find yourself a welcome guest anywhere you go! We arranged our own bird guide and had an excellent birdwatching tour. We were able to see a number of species that were high on our list, including the Scaley-breasted Kingfisher & the Superb Fruit Dove! Due to Paskah (Easter), we may not have experienced the food the way the lodge intended. Meals had to be ordered from town and not all options were available. Despite that, the staff was helpful in ensuring our stay was pleasant. We loved our stay at Highland Resort and hope we have a chance to come back!
