Great location, really friendly staff very willing to give a little extra. Thank you folks. Very welcoming - tea, coffee, OJ etc. at any time. Great breakfast, worthy of a more upmarket chain. Way more than other Holiday Inn Expresses I've stayed at. Range of family rooms as well. Comfortable and modern. Several minutes walk from the station or ferry port, just a few minutes around to the buses and in the middle of a very nice set of stores, cafes and restaurants. This was our second stay, likely to stay there again.

Haven't stayed at Holiday Inn Express before and was pleasantly surprised. Great value, location, clean, smart, everything worked, the bed was comfy, the hotel wasn't too noisy and breakfast was included.

Comfortable and warm room with great bed, in quite a quiet part of the city, so no disturbance to sleep. Good views from the top floor in this premium room. I particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna which is always a relaxing favourite when I stay at a Holiday Inn hotel.

Excellent stay at the Holiday Inn Express at Gunwharf Quays. Staff was very friendly and helpful and arranged late checkout which was essential for us during this trip. Good breakfast buffet and free parking for 24 hours.

Matched most expectations for a Holiday Inn Express. Room and bed both decent size. Breakfast included in the price. Location a few miles from the city centre, but reasonably easy to get there by car.

The Reception Person/Bartender was very helpful and very pleasant - even tho he was under pressure. I arrived in the rain; could not get the parking payment machine to work; I tried over and over until I felt like screaming. Really, Holiday Inn Express, Is the £5.00 parking fee really worth infuriating a tired wet guest arriving after dark and just wanting to get in and settled for the evening ? I was near to raving with frustration and anger. Despite pressure, the Reception guy came to help me willingly.
