We expect it will be great after reading the reviews and seeing pictures of the breakfast and therefore we decided to stay two nights in Gijrokaster instead of one and we also recommend the other guests to stay longer in the town and at the Alsara Guesthouse. The location is great as right from the Guesthouse you enter the main streets of the Bazaar, so you are right in the center. Even though you are in the center there is no noise coming from town during the night, so we had great sleep. The rooms are very nice and clean. In the Alsara Guesthouse there is a great rooftop, which is one of the best things about this hotel. We enjoyed there a glass of wine with a beautiful view on the town and we started there our mornings with breakfast. The breakfasts are HUGE, and there are another reason to stay an extra night at the Alsara Guesthouse. Moreover, the owner is super carring and helpful, he recommend us places to visit, restaurants to eat at and helped organized a taxi with a good price. If you come to Gjirokaster you must stay at the Alsara Guesthouse, we loved it very much!

With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. It was a pleasant experience. The property is few minutes walk from the historic centre. If you are coming by bus, you will need to walk uphill to reach the property, but once you are there you will not have climb anymore to see the attractions in city. Owner was really helpful, gave the all the instructions on how to reach and what to see. We were served home made Albanian breakfast which was highlight of our stay. It was delicious and we enjoyed it in the backyard among fruit trees and plants. If you are looking for place to stay in Gjirokaster just choose this one. You will not regret :)

The owner helped us a lot, was super sweet and even made us amazing herbal tea :3 The view from the terrace is astonishing and I was absolutely mesmerized by it, that was one of the best breakfasts I ever had (food was also delicious!)

Very clean and beautiful room, perfect location (near to the center). The owners very friendly and the did the best for us. We ate also dinner in the hotel's restaurant and we ate delicious and traditional albanian food!! The breakfast was full!! Our room (double deluxe) had perfect view and was perfect decorated! 🥰
