The location of the property is 5 stars, the Isso beach couple of minutes walk behind the property and the river and the green heels in front of the property. The property has some spaces for parking in front of you rent a car.

Offering inner courtyard views, Guesthouse Coco Garage is an accommodation situated in Kirishima, 5.8 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine and 19 km from Ebino Plateau. There are coffee beans and everything ready for us to make a hand drip coffee. I can’t wait to make one cup. The coffee taste so good and smooth, maybe this is selected beans. I connected the Bluetooth speaker and playing Mayumi Itsuwa’s songs. Music harmonized with the lovely chalet interior, the atmosphere is so relaxing and immersive. Kihara-san is very nice. The Shinyu Onsen he recommended is gorgeous. The hot spring water is wonderful. It is milky-white, so natural and so great. I guess it come from a sulphur spring. In the daytime, we hiked around Onamiike and Ebino Plateau. The crater lake is amazing and there are great views along the trails. At night, we do BBQ in front of the chalet. We rent a Charcoal Konro Grill set, it is really convenient. We bought some Japanese Wagyu beef for yakiniku from supermarket near Kirishima. The beef is yummy, really delicious.

Situated a 15-minute drive from Yakushima Airport, La Isla Tasse is charming accommodation housed in a large American-style mansion. Free in-room Wi-Fi is available, and guests can unwind in a spacious lounge with comfortable sofas. I loved this place. It’s a beautiful house, beautifully located next to the lake, close to restaurants, close to a busstop. Mainly: the hosts are incredibly friendly ♥️ order the breakfast you wont regret. They can make it vegetarian on request.

A 3-minute walk from Yakushima Airport, Tomarigi offers a bunk in a dorm room, a garden with a hammock and free Wi-Fi. It has a lounge with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player, as well as a shared kitchen. There is only 1 main accommodation area and the house has high roof, so it feels very open and spacious for me. Well ventilated with plenty of fresh air and natural light. I loved the feel of a wooden Japanese house. Everything was very clean and cozy. Loved the outdoor kitchen, lovely outdoor cooking experience; and outdoor areas, makes it easy to dry up after a rainy hiking day. The home is well equipped with racks and amenities (washing clothes, cooking). The host was so warm and caring, she checked in with you to provide necessary information on getting around and visiting Yakushima. Ask her about the meaning of the name Tomarigi, it’s very sweet. Thank you so much for my comfortable and close-to-nature stay, I had an amazing time!

This recently renovated homestay is located 18 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine and 33 km from Ebino Plateau. The accommodation provides luggage storage space and bicycle parking for guests. It was our best accommodation during our 12 days in South Kyushu!! The owner was super friendly and helpful to recommend food and make reservations for us. They had a cute corgi that we get to play with time to time. They also had a in house onsen which is simple and cosy if you feel like having a dip. The room is huge and so comfortable to sleep in. We really enjoyed our stay very much here! Will definitely stay here again if we return to Kirishima

This is a dream place! The house is newly renovated and refurbished with impeccable taste. There are two traditional rooms available, both spacious, clean and very quiet. The onsen water is available at the house and there’s a small bath outside to relax! The house is so clean and organised, and Yuki the host is just amazing. He provides you with anything you need, including laundry and towels. We spent two wonderful days there and felt fully recharged. Unfortunately the weather was really bad but Yuki recommended alternative places to visit! There are many beautiful onsen as well as izakayas on a walking distance! We will definitely go back to enjoy this unique environment once again!
