Ushijima Shrine is 1.4 km away and Tobu Museum is 1.4 km from the guest house. I like the experience of traditional japanese room for sleeping.

I think this is the best airbnb of my experience in Japan!The house is near to the Sakurajyosui station which is easy to arrive to Shinjyuku. Near the house there are many tiny Izakaya or restaurants, so no problem to eat. And Yumi is always thinking of us and easy to contact. All the rooms are tidy and pleasant.

Such a mesmerizing atmosphere, very comfortable, but also historical and so connected to nature! The food was beyond excellent! We liked everything, and would like to come again and again :) Thank you very much for your hospitality!

The room was a good size and came with a small kitchen. Many heaters were provided. The area was very quiet. Very close to shimokitazawa station and shops.

He gave us recommendations on where to eat (izakayas) and drink when asked! The location is in a nice and quiet location, and of course, next to convinis. There's also a relatively close location for laundry and if you need directions the owner has handouts on the whereabouts. ALSO I LOVE THE OWNER SO MUCH- he offered us cute goodie bags and also offered one of my friends a suitcase because she was carrying around lots of heavy bags 😭

銀河荘-Galaxy Guesthouse 12歳以下不可 is located in Hachijo and offers a garden and a terrace. This 2-star guest house offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge.

Featuring a shared bathroom, units at the guest house also provide guests with free WiFi. Keiko and Kenta were very nice and attentive hosts, staying in the Guesthouse almost felt like home. Also they had some good advice for travelling around the island or good places for coffee/dinner. Last but not least we really want to come back. We are pretty sad that the four days are over.

The host, who told me to call him Ash, makes his hostel feel like a home away from home. It's no wonder people come back. Everything is so thought out and labeled in Japanese and English with great care. I had never stayed at a hostel before and it felt wonderful to stay here; I felt very safe, comfortable, and at peace. It was smaller which made it quieter and very peaceful. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have stayed somewhere where I looked forward to coming home to. Everything felt very personable. I got help with anything I needed. I can't say enough good things It was easy to find what I needed, I felt very safe, everything was super clean, I felt cared for, and it felt like a very personalized experience. I liked that it was affordable and that the host seemed to care about me as an individual person, not just someone using the service. I had some trouble with the booking/ made mistakes and he was very communicative and helped me out. He went above and beyond with helping me with my luggage and was very patient with me. That felt very comforting in a country that I was going to for the first time and couldn't speak the language. Also the location was about 30 minutes by train for everything that I wanted to go do/see. I felt safe as a solo female traveler walking around at night. Thanks again!

The couple which run this place are absolutely beautiful people. We were lucky to be the only guests staying for the night and the owner went out of his way to pick us up and drop us off at the station. We felt well accommodated the entire time. The western breakfast they serve is incredible. Our only regret was staying here for just a single night.
