Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Really lovely friendly staff. Everything you need from a budget hostel. The towel hire service was a good send because we had forgotten ours. Great location.

It felt more like an apartment rather than a hostel, so cosy with all the facilities provided, fully equipped kitchen: fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, milk, beautiful cutleries, plates etc. Easy check-in, great location-less than 10 minutes from the bus station. In my room we had a guitar, found some Scottish shortbreads on my bed, and curtains could cover the whole bed.

Staff were friendly. Facilities were good: small kitchen with most things you need and a relaxed common area. Great shared bathrooms. Not really any atmosphere in the hostel itself, but a decent place to base yourself in Inverness if not looking to meet people. Bathrooms were large, incredibly clean and had good lighting - probably one of the best hostel bathrooms I've stayed at in a while. Great location - very central.

i usually never write reviews but this was the best hostel i have ever stayed at and thought i must. really cozy and personal vibe to the hostel, cute decor, clean bathroom, staff was super prompt and helpful when i got locked out of my room + wanted to keep my luggage safely for the day after checkout time. perfect location close to the bus and train station. their bar (just down the lane) called Blackisle Bar has a rooftop seating and serves excellent woodfired pizza - the perfect place for lunch on a sunny day!

The hosts of this property were really friendly and helpful. We stayed on Friday night and it was a short distance from Inverness town centre which was great, cheap in a taxi. The most AMAZING poached eggs in the morning too! We travelled as a couple and felt really safe and welcome here. Would recommend to others looking for a budget friendly place to stay.
