Situated at the foot of Ben Nevis, the long-established Glen Nevis Youth Hostel is just 3 miles from the large town of Fort William. It offers easy access to high and low-level walks, mountain biking, kayaking and other adventure sports. One of the best hostels I stayed at and just across the street from the Ben Nevis trailhead. The girl who worked front desk (Emily I think her name was?) went above and beyond. The staff was great, facilities were clean and there was a lot of space in the kitchen and common area. The bathrooms and showers were also private which I liked. I definitely recommend staying here. A very pleasant and comfortable experience.

Fort William is 30 miles away. Staff very welcoming. We arrived earlier than expected and they allowed us an early access to the room which we really appreciated. Great facilities, room was spotless, the beds very comfortable. Great location to the great glen way as well as shops, pubs and restaurants. We had a great night sleep. Thank you!
