Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Nice, warm hostel. It was raining outside, windy and cold. The hostel was cozy and warm. There is a kitchen with everything you need. A dining room where you can leisurely eat and socialize. Our room was ready in advance and we settled in straight away. Thank you.

The hostel is located within beautiful scenery. The beds and duvets are super comfortable and the fact that one gets two pillows is amazing haha. The bathrooms are really nice as well, as they’ve been redone recently. The hostel also offered oat milk as an alternative with a booked breakfast, which was a lovely surprise!

Gorgeous lovely quaint hostel. Would love to come back for the winter season because it is perfectly suited for that with its fire places. I really enjoy my stay here. Only two minutes from the Loch and across the street from a delicious restaurant. Right next door to the reindeer herd as well!

One of the nicest hostels we've been to. Big kitchen, clean and well equipped. The common areas were very nice, lots of space. There were a lot of bathrooms and they were all very clean. You could also buy food or drinks there which can be handy.

Quite spacious room for four. Beds were pretty good for a youth hostel. The shared bathrooms were little rooms with a shower, toilet and sink and they were clean. The people at the reception were very welcoming and helpful. Good parking space right next to the youth hostel. Location is great for visiting the reindeer centre and the surrounding area.

A great little youth hostel in a fantastic location. We stayed in a private room that was spacious and perfectly comfortable. We had access to our own shower and lavatory - just down the corridor. The setting couldn’t be better - loch Morlich across the road, literally at the foot of the Caingorms

It was quiet. It was clean. It felt safe. Shower room was immaculate and modern, great shower. Bedding was clean, duvets looked brand new. Internet charging on each bunk bed was great. WiFi was good. Lounge furniture was very comfortable, well laid out and very clean. The dining room was spacious and well laid out. Conservatory was lovely to have breakfast in, with lots of windows open. You could sit out in the garden, it was lovely and still quiet. Evening meals were good and very reasonably priced.
