Very functional Family room, with lots of cutlery and nice amenities in the room. Nice view of the castle entrance from the ultra large windows. A really cute cafe on 3F although I couldn't really get to use it. Complementary coffee and tea whenever you like on the cafe floor was a nice touch. I didn't find the check-in method difficult at all. I Don't get why all the reviews that people struggled to check in.

The best hostel I’ve ever stayed. The rooms were super clean and pretty. The common room and kitchen facilities are incredible with everything you need to cook and spend a relaxing time. Onsen was the best experience.

This was the best hostel experience I’ve ever had. I have travelled a lot over the past 8/9 years and hands down this was the best. So comfortable, so clean and cosy. Staff were lovely. Beautiful onsen and communal area. My only disappointment is that I could not stay longer

Great location off the main streets of hakone but still close to everything. Perfect for a budget stay while the generous double-bed capsule style rooms offer way more privacy than a typical hostel, which was great. The shared bathroom and kitchen was always clean and the staff were friendly.

Slightly off the beaten path, would be ideal for backpackers instead of families. Surrounded by great looking restaurants though most had unfortunate working hours that we missed for a one night stay. The room is cozy and more spacious than most budget hotels. Staff is friendly and was there to greet us for the check in, while check out was hassle free. Features a cool looking bar that we unfortunately was too tired for. View during the evening and sunrise was stunning

Really nice staff, friendly and talkative and gave some good tips. The little rooms are really nice, feels like you have your very own room. Facilities are basic but clean. One of the best hostels I've been to

The hostel is very nice and cozy. Is a dormitory but is a private double bed separated by a door from the other beds, like a bunk bed ( you can see what I mean from the pictures). The bed was super comfortable as well as the pillows ( 4 in total which I really appreciated). There is everything you need and you can get there easily from the train station, about 15 mins walking (the last 3 are a bit steep).
