At the hostel each room has air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and slippers. Every room has a kettle, while selected rooms are fitted with a balcony and others also offer mountain views. At Fort Motel every room comes with bed linen and towels.

The hotel is very compact but it has everything: the garden with trees and shrubs, the swimming pool, the sauna and hammam which are ready every day. The suite room was super comfortable: mosquito nets, the sockets in the right place, many places for storage of luggage and clothes, and surely the terrace. Staff is mostly friendly and helpful.

The bicycles available for rent are in good condition, just make sure the tyres are pumped up. Kyaninga Lodge on Lake Kyaninga is a very steep, gorgeous 8 km bike ride from the hostel, and they'll let you in to swim in the beautiful lake if you buy a drink.
