Amazing place, I wouldn't hesitate to book my stay here were I to come back to Savonlinna. Friendly owners, great location and all the amenities you could wish for. Great price-quality offer, especially in Finland where everything tends to be very expensive.

It has everything travellers need: good kitchen, comfortable rooms, clean showers, a washing machine and dryer. We were also able to store our bicycles safely :) Everything was recently renovated in a lovely style, reaction to messages was quick, the check-in with keycodes unproblematic. We had nice chats with the new, very friendly owner. We can totally recommend to stay here 👍🏻😃

Breakfast was amazing, with lovely homemade treats. The staff were always very friendly. The place had real charm. Despite the simplicity of the rooms and facilities (it is a hostel, after all), everything worked, everything was clean and there were special little touches in decor and at breakfast. You really didn't mind the showers and the toilets being shared by everyone else on your corridor.

The breakfast is one of the best we've had globally. Parking was good, close to top entrance...safe, secure. Staff were helpful + efficient. My husband enjoyed the swimming pool lots.
