Westport
Old Mill Holiday Hostel is located in Westport and housed in a historic building dating back to around 1780. Free WiFi access is available, as well as a shared kitchen. Other facilities offered at the property include a shared lounge. Clean, central, great character. Great staff. Due to Covid and low numbers of travellers the woman separated people so they avoided sharing rooms. I had a 6 bed room to myself. That flexibility is responsible and appreciated.
great location for our needs to travel and see this part of Ireland. I think there were only 6 rooms. Extremely happy with the staff especially Zach and Rory, who were very helpful in getting us settled. Breakfast was yummy and the bar was cozy with good pints. One night local musicians played Irish music for a few hours. I would stay there again.
Great location, bunk beds were comfy and the room was clean
A beautiful house finished to the highest standards. It was spotlessly clean and it is a great location for climbing Croagh Patrick e.t.c.. Very quiet, safe area with space for parking around the back of the house. Very nice homely touches. We thorough enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this house.
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable hostel in great location. As advertised
Great location, lovely apartment, plenty of room for 4 people. Spotless clean. One criticism, stairs very steep/narrow but there is a handrail but a second handrail would make it safer. I noticed that the carpet on top step looks like it is coming away, I would remove altogether. Otherwise all good.
Great location, great building, clean and the only staff there were two very friendly volunteers. Price would have been good value if I could have sat upright in the bunk bed and had there been even a small bedside locker of chair in the room. Kitchen facility was very good, also very clean. Very close to amenities.
Great location, very clean and comfortable. Great instructions and video for the parking for the apartments and key safe.
We had a lovely if brief stay for a cycling weekend in Westport and Lurgan House was great. It is located on a quiet side road about halfway between Westport town and Westport harbour so a great location. We were able to store our bikes safely and we had a lovely relaxing stay with a delicious homemade breakfast.
The hostel room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We had a few pints and a delicious meal in the bar while we listened to a great trad session. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite how busy they were. The grounds were well kept and we went for an early morning walk and swim nearby before checking out.
