Kana, the host, was absolutely amazing. She let us check in early, booked us private onsens, helped us make dinner reservations, and gave us all the ins and outs about the area. She helped us navigate the busses and told us where to go to get the perfect view of Mt Fuji. She is such a wonderful host.

The area is popular for hiking and cycling, and bike hire is available at this 1-star hostel.

Defenitely a must when travelling in Japan - nothing can be compared to staying in a traditional house. Loved it!

Very functional Family room, with lots of cutlery and nice amenities in the room. Nice view of the castle entrance from the ultra large windows. A really cute cafe on 3F although I couldn't really get to use it. Complementary coffee and tea whenever you like on the cafe floor was a nice touch. I didn't find the check-in method difficult at all. I Don't get why all the reviews that people struggled to check in.

The property is around 18 km from Motosumi-Bremen Shopping District, 19 km from Higashiyamata Park and 19 km from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. The hostel has a sauna and shared lounge, and Yokohama Marine Tower is less than 1 km away. The staff struggles with English, so please use Google Translate or another tool. They are very helpful.

The Guesthouse is super cute, very clean and the staff super friendly. The room was big and not crowded. Also very compfy. The cafe/bar down stairs was also lovely and I really enjoyed the smoothies!

Friendly and warm vibe. Talkative and kind owner(multilingual!). Free banana. Noise free. Easy access to the Haneda Airport. Situating in the Chinatown means a lot of food options.

The shared dining / living room was also very charming with old Japanese house feel. The shared bathroom and toilets were also very clean. The staffs were very friendly. We love all the little turtle decorations and also the selection of complimentary teas available.

Staffs were really friendly and my stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience.
