Clasy and functional. We were booked to stay one night but decided to stay an extra night, as it was so comfortable.

Very clean, tidy and well stocked with essentials e.g with tea, coffee, sugar, condiments and toiletries. (Having milk in the fridge when we arrived was really appreciated as all shops were closed!)
Good heating and hot water supply, excellent linen (towels &sheets) and laundry facilities (washer, dryer, washing line and even some washing powder provided).
Outside BBQ worked great.
At Wrest Point, guests can enjoy spectacular views of the River Derwent, Mount Wellington and Hobart CBD (Central Business District).

We had a wonderful view - the comfy bed was perfect and our breakfast options were perfect. The staff were also exceptional. A big shout out to Marg(ie) who worked downstairs at the Boardwalk Cafe - thank you for making us feel so welcome.
The Rivulet is located in Hobart and is a heritage-listed boutique hotel.

Our room was exceptional, it felt like we had been transported back in time in a grand mansion. The sun came streaming into our room, we had a large bathroom and sunroom.
Breakfast was delicious and generous, complete with freshly baked quiche from up the road. .
Originally built in the 1880s, Clydesdale Manor boasts with free Wi-Fi and free parking. It is 5 minutes' walk from Sandy Bay.

Cottage was what we needed for a couple of days visiting a very sick relative. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to meet the hosts but everything was satisfactory.
