The summer cottage is set on a 2500m² estate by the stream between the Szczecin Lagoon and the Achterwasser. Perfect for nature lovers, anglers, water wanderers and cyclists. Harbour/water lay-by and bike rentals 50m. Bathing places: Usedom/Baltic Sea approx. 60km, Mönkebude/lagoon approx. 35km, Ueckermünde/lagoon approx. 45km. Sights: Zoo Ueckermünde, bridge Karnien, Peenemünde, Lilienthal town Anklam, renaturation Peenetalmoor. Shopping: Anklam 15km. Railway station Anklam 20km.

Have you ever heard of Epipactis palustris and Trollius europaeus? They are plants growing in the Peene valley, a unique fluvial topography. Beavers, otters and badgers share a singular vegetation with racoons, rare birds and other animals. Water wandering and cycling around the Peene valley nature reserves are great ways to experience the peace of this landscape. Well-maintained resting places for water wanderers like the one in Stolpe offer relaxing breaks in an attractive surroundings. The Hanseatic city of Demmin with its dockyard warehouse ensemble and Lilienthal town Anklam with its Otto-Lilienthal-Museum are two of the smaller towns by the Peene offering lovely accommodation and urban place of interest. Following the course of the river, you come across castles, palaces, manors and farm houses again and again. The ruined castle Landskron and the castle Spantekow are examples of such stone monuments to the past.
