Amazing place to stay, the personnel is very friendly and besides Spanish, they also speak English and German. The breakfast is great, and the many feeders make it an excellent spot for birdwatching as well.

My second time in Mindo and my second time staying here. If I return to Mindo, I will stay here again. Small, family run hotel about a 5-10 minute walk to the main street of Mindo. Rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. The reason for staying here is the amazing bird/animal garden next to the patio. It is so wonderful, that private tours stop here with paying guests, but you get it for free. A delicious breakfast is served on the patio, so you can enjoy the hummingbirds even more! After a fun filled day in Mindo, the patio is the perfect place to relax and be surrounded by the nature.

The staff is super kind and helpful! The breakfast was super plentiful, and super relaxing to watch the birds while eating. They had lots of recommendations on things to do in the surrounding area, even telling me the cheaper places to eat (as I´m a single traveler trying to budget). It´s outside of the little town which is great! I will definitely be staying there when I come back to visit.

What a gem of an accommodation! I arrived at nighttime and the next morning I couldn't believe my eyes when I went downstairs to eat breakfast. There were birds all around! I enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, motmot and an agouti. The owner is very nice and it was easy to meet other travellers. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was very delicious.
