Company information

Nights of Northern Lights is a two-family small business founded in 2019 that offers accommodation services and activity equipment rental. We rent various experiential accommodations, such as cottages with or without a jacuzzi, a glass igloo in the middle of nature and a luxury caravan next to beautiful landscapes. In addition to accommodation, we rent activity equipment, such as electric bicycles and skiing and camping equipment, as well as canoes. We operate in the northernmost village of Finland and the EU, Nuorgam, where you pretty sure can see the northern lights due to low light pollution. The company's strengths are e.g. customer care and good local expertise. We want to consider each customer's needs individually and strive to meet them as best as possible, and we keep our accommodation clean and tidy and well equipped.

Property information

The glass igloo is a small luxury accommodation in the middle of wonderful, quiet and peaceful nature and floats on a fell pond. The igloo is located next to the Kaldoaivi wilderness. You can watch the northern lights and the starry sky directly from your bed. In summer, you can swim from your own terrace. In winter, you can walk on the ice of the pond. The igloo has a comfortable double bed, heating and USB charging as well as wifi. The floor can accommodate one additional person if necessary.

Neighbourhood information

The igloo is located along the old historical Museum road and in the Tenojoki riverside scenery. It is about 10 km from the igloo to the center of Nuorgam and to the stone of Finland's northernmost point. From us you can rent e.g. electric-assisted bicycles with which you can conveniently move around and view the fell scenery. In winter, you can rent skis and snowshoes are part of the igloo's equipment.
